Old Style releases new packaging to highlight their 61 year partnership with the Chicago Cubs

Packaging Digest just released an article today about Scott & Victor, the Chicago-based strategic creative marketing grouCubs/Old Stylep, and Pabst Brewing Company, and the release of new packaging highlighting Old Style Beer's campaign surrounding its

61-year partnership with one of our hometown teams, Chicago Cubs.  The artwork is designed to look like the wood grain of a baseball bat and has both the Cubs and Old Style logos and the phrase "Chicago's Beer Since 1902" etched into them.  The commemorative bottles are set to launch in April just as baseball season is getting underway. 

Old Style has been the beer of choice for Chicago and especially for Cubs fans.  "Given the long-standing relationship between Old Style Beer and the Chicago Cubs, Old Style is in a unique position to make commentary about the team and the stadium spanning decades," said Victor LaPorte, partner, Scott & Victor.  "The baseball bat bottle design pays ultimate respect to the sport and the team, and the print campaign visually references old-school baseball cards, including insider messages that are unique to the Cubs and rewarding to their fans."

YourLabelsNOW.com, working with interactive agency Marcel Media, beat out Dell.com to win the Gold Ribbon Award for WhichTestWon.com's Best B2B Ecommerce Site Test. The award highlights companies that have executed successful online marketing campaigns, and as a result have seen an increase in website conversions.

YourLabelsNOW created a proprietary, web-based, project estimate tool that allows customers to receive real-time estimates on customized, quality label orders. In September of 2010 Marcel Media, a full service, interactive marketing agency, and YourLabelsNOW launched an A/B test on YourLabelsNOW.com. The A/B test was part of an online marketing campaign that aimed to increase the conversion rates of visitors requesting quotes.

The results were astonishing. The request for online quotes increased over 100 percent. Their total online sales have increased by over 200 percent since the testing was first implemented in 2009.
